For several years now I have been trying to locate Haskell Wexler.In 1963 his filming crew came to Southwest Georgia(Albany) to document the organizing efforts for the March On Washington. I was working as a field secretary for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee.His crew was with us all the way to Washington.

It is nice to see the little BIO that Wes did. The video is showing in the Graffiti Museum in Modesto, right down the street from the State Street Theater where the 35th Anniversary celebration was held.

I had a wonderful time traveling with my father up to Modesto. Everyone was so nice and we were both treated like royalty — only my father is the only real royalty here. The enthusiasm for the movie, 35 years later and still as strong as ever, was totally amazing. Several weeks later I think they are still celebrating!
